Onnie Christal Fulmer

AIKEN, SC –Onnie Christal Fulmer, 72, beloved husband of Joyce Virgina Franklin Fulmer, died Thursday, February 05, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Taylor Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Cemetery. He was born in Ridge Spring, SC, to the late Wardlaw Christal and Fannie Mae Smith Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer was a lifelong resident of Aiken and worked as a machinist at the Savannah River Site and also served in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Virgina Franklin Fulmer, Aiken, son, Michael (Caroline) Fulmer, Aiken, grandchild, Jeremy M. Fulmer, sisters, Juanita Verenes, Martinez, GA, Lona Mae Proctor, Niceville, FL, brother, Robert B. Fulmer, VA. Pallbearers will be Gene Ray Fulmer, Marion Fulmer, Ronnie Johnston, Frank Strickland, Carroll Fulmer, and Irvin C. Fulmer. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Martin Robinson Sunday School Class. Memorials may be directed to Shiloh Baptist Church, Shiloh Church Rd, Aiken, SC, 29805.
