Marion Reed Parker

AIKEN – Mrs. Marion Reed Parker, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her residence. Upon her wishes there will not be a memorial service. Mrs. Parker was born in Barnwell, SC on May 21, 1936 and lived in Aiken, SC for the last 56 years. She was a homemaker, devoted mother, loving grandmother and faithful member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters, Elaine P. (Rodney) Brown, Carolyn P. Terry, Jacqueline F. Parker; sons, Willie L. Parker, Charles E. (Michelle) Parker, McDaniel Parker all of Aiken, SC; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Hattie Chandler, Aiken, Louise Haze, Washington, DC, Martha Ann Foreman, Dublin, GA; brothers, Lawrence Brooker, Orangeburg, SC and Nathaniel Brooker of Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the home of her oldest daughter, Elaine Brown.
