AIKEN – Mrs. June Seawright Spradley, 74, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Heartland Hospice, Augusta, GA A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the Millbrook Baptist Church Chapel. Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard will officiate. Interment will take place at 11:00 AM in Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia, SC. Mrs. Spradley was born in Johnston, SC, a daughter of the late Charles Dewey and Lotheia Kobb Seawright. She was a teacher for over 30 years with the Lexington County District 2 schools, a member of the Cereus Gardening Club, a lifetime member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, and the Lexington County Teachers Organization. She moved to Aiken from Cayce, SC in 2000, and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. She is survived by several cousins. Her son, Stephen Derrick, her first husband, Fred Derrick, and her second husband, Larry Hampton Spradley, Sr., preceded her in death.
