Donna Sullivan Gels

AIKEN, SC – DONNA MARIE GELS, 79, beloved wife of Donald B. Gels, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at PruittHealth – Aiken. A native of Toledo, OH, Donna was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Scott Sullivan.  She lived in Aiken since 1989, was a homemaker, a teacher, and communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Donald, include a daughter, Dawn Marie Moore (Scotty), Aiken, SC; three sons, Daniel Gels (Michelle), Birmingham, AL, LTC Douglas Gels (Rebecca), Suitland, MD, Dean Gels (Elizabeth), Hoboken, NJ; 8 grandchildren; a sister, Gayle Roux, O’Brian, OR; a brother, John Terry Sullivan, Hawaii.  In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ferreri. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 19, 2015 in the Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Art Dalupang officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.
