Alvin Leroy Parker

Aiken-Alvin Leroy Parker, 86, died March 2, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 5 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Darrell Engle officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors. He was born in Anderson, SC to the late Harold and Lura Caldwell Parker. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II and Korea. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include his nephews, Bruce (Sue) Brown, Sr., Bruce Brown, Jr. and niece, Laura B. Page, all of Aiken. He was preceded in death by a sister Evie P. Brown. The family will receive friends at their house, 710 West Rollingwood Rd., Aiken.
