Lynne Anne Lamb

AIKEN, SC – LYNNE ANNE LAMB, 51, beloved wife of James Alan Lamb, Jr., died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at her residence. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Lynne was a daughter of George and Mary Catherine Schwartz Solomon. She grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ and graduated from Cherry Hill High School West. As a navy wife, Lynne lived in New Jersey, Virginia, Florida and Illinois before moving to Aiken 6 years ago. She was a homemaker. Surviving, in addition to her husband Alan, are her parents, George and Mary Solomon, Cherry Hill, NJ and a step-brother, George Solomon, Jr, Wilkes-Barre, PA. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 until 6 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday morning at 11 o’clock at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Henry L. Chennault officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
