August 14, 1942 — November 22, 2015

AIKEN, SC – MARSHA ANN WATKINS, 73, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native and life-long resident of Aiken County, Marsha was a daughter of the late Joe Norton and Ruby Maxine Herron Toole. She retired from the Savannah River Site and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Annette Pinkard, Aiken; two sons, Jim Simons (Mylinda), Rochester, WA, Bobby Simons, Spokane, WA; seven grandchildren, Ronnie Dorn, Corissa Brock, Josh Pinkard, Chris Pinkard, Jim Simons, Wade Simons and Brandon Brown; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evone Garvin, Aiken, Glenda Fulmer, Aiken, Jacqueline Solomon, Lynden, WA, Diane Henderson, Folkston, GA; a brother, Jackie Toole, Winder, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning at Solid Rock Baptist Church beginning at 10 o’clock followed by the funeral service at 11 o’clock. The Rev. Steven Drawdy will officiate. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wes Guyton, Jim Grey, Matt Fulmer, R.J. Rider, Shane Fulmer, Terry Fulmer, Michael Fulmer and Chris Pinkard. In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by a son, Blair Dorn. Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org).
