AIKEN – Mr. Thomas Patrick Ferriter, 58, died Monday, March 9, 2009. A Christian wake will be celebrated Thursday at 6:30 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home. Friends are invited to remain after the service as the family will receive until 8:00. The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 2:00 PM at St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church with the Rev. James L LeBlanc celebrant. Final prayers and commendations will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors. He was born in Rahway, NJ to the late Paul Thomas and Kathryn Carney Ferriter. He was a Air Force Veteran of Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Mary Help of Catholic Church, past Pres. Of TFI, Inc., past General Manager of Topsail, Hampstead, NC, Golf Professional and Entrepreneur, former member of Knights of Columbus, former Golf Course Superintendant, former member of Professional Golf Assoc., member of CSRA Shag Club and loved to sing Karoke. Survivors include his loving partner, Sandra Hubbs and beloved children, Keiran (Jeff) Wrigley, Oakland, ME, Ryan (Robin) Holland, Wrexham, Wales, UK, Meghan (Michael) Barriault, Auborn, ME, and Thomas Patrick Ferriter, III, Stubenville, OH. Other survivors include grandchildren, Samuel Patrick Wrigley, Isaac John Wrigley, David Joseph Wrigley, Benjamin Jeffrey Wrigley, Eleanor Kathryn Holland, Madeleine Louisa Holland; sisters, Judith Ann Davis, Mary Eileen Hass, of Aiken, brothers, John Richard Ferriter, Columbia, SC, David Michael Ferriter, Moore, SC and Mark Joseph Ferriter, Aiken. Pallbearers will be , Richard Peterson, Carlisle McNair, Stephen Hale, Buddy Parker, Sean Niland, and Harry Bryant. Honorary pallbearers will be the CSRA Shag Club.
