Velma Roberta VanLieu Seeley

AIKEN – Mrs. Velma Roberta VanLieu Seeley, 93, died Sunday, December 6, 2015. Mrs. Seeley was born in Portland, ME, lived in Branford , CT for over 50 years, and had resided in the Aiken area for the last three years. She was a loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed spending time in Rangeley Lake, ME during the summer months, and was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan. She loved animals, and was a wonderful caregiver to many. She is survived by her daughter Carol Perry, North Branford, CT; a son, Steven (Cindy) Seeley, Aiken; grandchildren, Danielle Johnson, Michael Perry, Erica Seeley, Steven Seeley, Scott Seeley; great grandchildren Dylan, Carson, Kylie, Chloe, Alivia and Allie Seeley, Sophia Johnson and Bella Connelly. Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Seeley, a granddaughter, Gretchen Perry, a brother, Lester VanLieu, and a son in law, Peter Perry.
