AIKEN, SC – DAVID WAYNE CRUTCHFIELD, 15, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 3, 2016 in Aiken.
A native of Blytheville, AR, David was the son of Carla Shealey and Willie Shealey. He was a sophomore at Silver Bluff High School. He loved playing basketball, football and video games and hanging out with friends. David was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Carla and Willie Shealey, Aiken; maternal grandparents, Carl and Bonnie Crutchfield, Aiken, step-grandmothers, Grace Booth, Graniteville, Lillie Scott, Graniteville; aunts, Shannon Crutchfield, Maxine Crutchfield, Rissa (Justin) Keller, all of Aiken; uncle, PeeWee Crutchfield, Aiken; cousins, Zackery Phillips and Ansley Keller, Aiken; half-brother, Wesley Mullins, Arkansas, and numerous other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in the name of David Crutchfield and can be made payable at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held Thursday evening, January 7th at 7 o’clock at Pineview Baptist Church, 2424 Williston Rd. (Hwy. 278).
