AIKEN, SC - Andrew Loyal, 68, passed away Tuesday, January 5, peacefully in his sleep after a strong battle with lung cancer. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Andrew was preceded in death by his wife Janice Emily Loyal, parents Julia and Henry Loyal, brother Dennis Loyal. Andrew was a beautiful soul, as one nurse said, who could brighten your day. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war and earned many accolades for his service. One thing that he truly enjoyed was saltwater fishing. Andrew was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and uncle. Survivors include a brother Bernard Loyal, sister in law Andrea Loyal, brother Ronald Loyal, sister in law Barbara, a daughter, Denise Spacek, son in law Charles Spacek, a son, Darren Loyal, a daughter in law Catherine Loyal, 3 loving grandchildren, Charles and Emily Spacek and Carlee Loyal, along with many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Andrew’s Life will be held Thursday from 6 until 8 PM, at Shellhouse - Rivers, on Pine Log Road here in Aiken, followed by cremation and final interment in New York, where he will be laid to rest with his one and only true love, Janice.
