William "Chip" R. Wells

WINDSOR – Mr. William “Chip” R. Wells, Jr., 65, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at his residence. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Shellhouse Funeral Home chapel. Mr. Wells was born in Augusta, GA, a son of the late William R. and Grace Smith Wells. He was a lifelong resident of the Aiken area, and worked for 23 years with the Weyerhaeuser Company. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sheryl Holley Wells; two sisters, Betty Jane (Harry) Hausman, Orange Park, FL, Cathy Wells, Asheville, NC; niece, Ashley Hausman, nephew, Jason (Kristin) Hausman and their children, Talan, Cora and Claire; numerous other nieces and nephews.
