Robert James Rainbolt

AIKEN, SC – ROBERT JAMES “PAPPA BOB” RAINBOLT age 85, resident of Punta Gorda, Florida, formerly of Bradley, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in Aiken, SC with his 3 children at his side. Robert was born April 10, 1930 in Kankakee, IL, the son of William and Ruby (Reynolds) Rainbolt. He married Sharon Wilson on November 7, 1952 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, she preceded him in death. He is survived by two daughters, Robin Senesac (Bill Stockton) of Aiken, SC and Terri (David) Grant of Bourbonnais, IL; one son, Randy (Debra) Rainbolt of Cape Coral, FL; two brothers, William Rainbolt and Warren (Tom) Rainbolt and a sister in law Pam Rainbolt of Kankakee, IL and Carol Conlin of Huntley, IL; 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Andrew, Kyle, Rachel and Sarah and 2 great grandchildren Takayo and Charliesue and his special little dog Cookie. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 baby sister Mildred and 2 sisters, Betty Bouchard and Ruth Jenkins. Robert’s wishes were to be cremated. In honor of his life a memorial celebration will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at River Valley Christian Fellowship in Bourbonnais, IL.
