Ellis Ray Reynolds, Jr.

AIKEN, SC – ELLIS RAY REYNOLDS, JR., 34, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Ellis was born on December 11, 1974 in Augusta, GA to Barbara and Ellis Ray Reynolds, Sr.. He was a lifelong resident of Aiken. He loved to cook and play guitar and loved animals. Ellis was a chef and was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his parents, Barbara and Ellis Ray Reynolds, Sr., his companion, Christal Sizemore, two sisters, Dana (Bill) Lawson, Aiken, and Shayne (Yvone Coleman) Reynolds, Ridgeland, SC, two brothers, Chris (Patricia) Jensen, Augusta and Steven (Cindy Holt Luder) Reynolds, Augusta, an aunt, Suzanne Durst, Swanton, MD, 10 nieces and nephews, a great-niece, five cousins, Matt, Cindy, Larry, Jerry, and Terry Durst. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC, with The Reverend Martha Ebel officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dickinson, Ken Turner, Michael Sizemore, Mark Sizemore, Renard Breeland, and Bill Lawson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Friends may call at other times at the home of his parents.
