William Stewart Brown

AIKEN, SC – WILLIAM STEWART BROWN, 21, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his home. A native of Tallahassee, FL, William was the son of Tim and Leah Stewart Brown. He lived in Aiken for the last 15 years and was a graduate of South Aiken Christian School. He was attending Aiken Technical College. William was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church and a former member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He was a genuine friend to anyone and everyone he met. William loved his friends and family with his whole heart. Survivors, in addition to his parents, Tim and Leah, include a sister, Catherine Brown; three brothers, Tyler Ford, Jon Barr and Josh Hawes, all of Aiken; maternal grandparents, David and Candy Stewart, South Bend, IN; paternal grandparents, William and Carol Brown, Marietta, GA; aunts and uncles, Rick and Lyndy Stewart, South Bend, IN, Kathleen and Todd Peneguy, Cumming, GA and Cindy Brown, Birmingham, AL. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon at Town Creek Baptist Church beginning at 1:30, followed by the funeral service at 3 o’clock. The Revs. Clint Smith and Dewayne Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Historic Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Ford, Josh Hawes, Jon Barr, Travis Howard, Rick Stewart and Ben Allen Chavis.
