Joseph Alan Fairgrieve, Sr.

WARRENVILLE – Mr. Joseph Alan Fairgrieve, Sr., 59, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Johns United Methodist Church. Reverend Dr. George K. Howle and Reverend Neal Flowers will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Fairgrieve was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, a son of the late Joseph Tait and Christina Jack Fairgrieve. He was a resident of Aiken County for almost three years, and was a carpenter for Larlee Construction. Survivors include his beloved wife, Nancy Ganley Fairgrieve; three sons, Joseph A. Fairgrieve, Jr., Aiken, James Michael Fairgrieve and Daniel Mark Fairgrieve, both of Warrenville; a sister, Jane (Earl) Simmons, Aiken; numerous other family members in Scotland.
