Jerry Coker

AIKEN, SC – JERRY COKER, 76, passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2016 at his residence. A native of Madison, TN, Jerry was a son of the late Haskell Celsor and Hazel McCullough Coker. He lived in Aiken since 1952 and was a 1957 graduate of Aiken High School. He was a retired supervisor with Owens Corning Fiberglass and was a long-time member of Palmetto Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Sue Maxwell Coker; a daughter, Bronwyn Dawsey (Jared), Chapin, SC; a son, Brandon Maxwell Coker, Columbus, GA; three grandchildren, Smith Dawsey, McCullough Dawsey and Arlis Dawsey; a sister, Judy Bailey (Richard), Modoc, SC; a brother, John Wayne Coker (Theda), Walterboro, SC. Memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of choice.
