Nancy Roof

AIKEN, SC – NANCY ELIZABETH ROOF, 88, widow of Charles C. Roof, died peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday, February 09, 2016 at Hitchcock Place. A native of Berkley, CA, Nancy was a daughter of the late Alfred R. and Mabel Elizabeth McGrath King.  She moved to Aiken in 2010 from Southport, NC. Survivors include two sons, David M. Roof, Aiken, SC, Chuck A. Roof, Oregon; a daughter, Jackie Elizabeth Knott, Southport, NC; a daughter-in-law, Heather Roof, Logan, OH; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Leilani Davis. Funeral services will be private. The family would like to thank the staff of Hitchcock Place for their compassionate care.
