Carlene Brantley Proctor

Aiken – Ms. Carlene Brantley Proctor, 65, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016, and a memorial service will follow at 3:30 PM in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Beau Bradberry officiating. Carlene was born in Aiken, a daughter of the late James Carlton and Azilee Ready Brantley. She was a graduate of Aiken High School, a member of Couchton Baptist Church, and worked as a secretary. Ms. Proctor was an inspiration to and touched the lives of everyone that met her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and enjoyed her computer and the knowledge it produced. Ms. Proctor was a loving mother to her two children, Dusty Annette Proctor and Mark (Danielle) Proctor, both of Lexington, SC; loving grandmother to Hunter Christian Proctor, Logan Chase Proctor, Tanner Ray Proctor, and Carter Garrin Proctor; sister to Linda Rutt, Durham, NC, Jackie Allen, Aiken, Jimmy Brantley, Aiken; and aunt to a host of nephews.
