AIKEN, SC – MARY B. “BO” WILLIS, 86, widow of the late Rev. William R. “Bill” Willis, died unexpectedly, Friday, March 18, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Monetta, SC. A native of Bishopville, SC, Mary was a daughter of the late Jim and Eva Atkinson Bradley. She moved to Aiken more than 60 years ago from McCormick, SC. She worked as an escort at the Savannah River Site. As the wife of a Baptist minister she taught children’s church most of her life. She was a member of Kedron Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, The Rev. Dr. John Bradley Willis, Aiken; two daughters, Shirley W. Fallaw (James), Monetta, SC and Joanna W. Bright (Michael), Aiken; three grandchildren, Jason Arthur, Hope Reece, Jamie Fallaw, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Kelsey Fallaw, Billy Ingram, Shelton Fallaw, Seth Fallaw, Ian Reece and Will Fallaw; five great-great-grandchildren, Kyndall Arthur, Bryce Ingram, Nathan Arthur, Ashlyn Herring and Hayden Arthur. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 7 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon, March 21st at 3 o’clock at Redds Branch Baptist Church, with her son, The Rev. Dr. J. Brad Willis and Rev. Keith Ussery officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
