Johnny Wesley Stone

AIKEN – Mr. Johnny Wesley Stone, 69, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Henry Chennault officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Johnny was born in Gastonia, NC, a son of the late Raymond and Margaret Holland Stone. He served in the US Army for 7 and a half years, and lived most of his life in Aiken. As a Supervisor, he retired from the City of Aiken after working over 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty June Kitchings Stone; three daughters, Tammy (Hector) Kitchings Montes, Aiken, Christine Stone, Aiken, Kimberly Stone, Aiken; a son, John “John Boy” Stone, Jr., Aiken, grandchildren, Jose Stone, Hector Kitchings, Selena Zavala, Victor Kitchings, Angeline Montes; sister, Linda May Price, N. Augusta; brothers, Raymond (Linda) Lee Stone, Aiken, Barney Stone, Aiken, Robert (Bergie) Stone, Aiken. Memorials may be directed to the Savannah River Cancer Foundation, P.O.
