AIKEN – Mrs. Betty Ann Joyner Weiand, 82, widow of the late William Lloyd Weiand, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016.
Mrs. Weiand was born in Drummonds, TN to the late James Erwin and Myrel Sawyer Joyner. She had been a resident of Aiken for the last 38 years and worked as a cake decorator. Betty was a member of Fountain of Life Fellowship Church where she was known as a God fearing women and honest person whose selfless acts were done for the benefit of others. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Fountain of Life Fellowship Church with the Rev. Timothy McIver officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Craig Williams, David Beard, David Grant, Tyler Eastway, Ethan Eastway and Mark Eastway. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM at the church.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly (Mark) Eastway, North Manchester, IN; sons, Brian Keith Williams, Aiken, Craig Alan Williams, Aiken; grandchildren, Jeremy Williams, Erik Williams, Carrie Williams, Ryan Williams, Rebecca Strieby, Robert Cansler, Stephen Cansler, Tyler Eastway, Ethan Eastway, Hannah Eastway, Chad Fields; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Matson, Milford, MA and Pat Warton, Tampa, FL
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by her children, Larry Williams, Debbie Cansler, Mike Williams and a brother, Jerry Joyner.
