Martin Dale Shea

AIKEN – Mr. Martin Dale Shea, 76, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. He was born in Alpena, Michigan and lived the majority of his life in Alcona County. Ten years ago, he and his wife retired in Aiken, SC following a career of 25 years in banking and 15 years in retail. Marty is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Margaret W. Shea, and his daughter, Molly Whitney Shea of Aiken, SC; a sister, Mary Shea (Thomas) Torbet, Beulah, MI; sister-in-laws; Shirley (Clair) Haupt, Mary Jo(Pat) Patterson, Jean (Reg) Ide, and brother-in-laws; Charles F. (Linda) Whitney and Curt (Donna) Whitney. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Michaelyn Susanne and Melissa Kristine and parents Virginia Martindale and Emmett Kinney Shea. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Hopelands Gardens, Aiken,SC with the Reverend Lee Phillips and the Reverend Donny Bates officiating. A second memorial service will be held in Harrisville, MI on April 30, 2016 visitation, 10AM to 11AM, service at 11AM at the United Methodist US-23 South with the Reverend Mary Soderholm officiating.
