Sue Story Brown

AIKEN – Mrs. Sue Story Brown, 81, entered into rest Sunday, May 22, 2016, surrounded by her family. Sue was born in Anderson, SC, a daughter of the late Velma Louise Pickens Story and William Riley & Laura Story. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Bruce Brown, Sr.; Children, Laura and John Page, Aiken; Bruce and Rhonda Brown, Jr., Aiken; Grandchildren, Neely and Tracy Page; Evan Page; Katie and Rhett Roberson; Great grandchildren, Avery and Whitney Page; Brothers, Bill and Shelby Story, Seneca, SC; Mac and Sheila Story, Richmond, VA. Preceding her in death was a son, William Cameron Brown, and a sister, Leila Amanda Moorehead. Sue was a resident of Aiken for 55 years. She was the first female Newspaper Production Manager for the Aiken Standard, and a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at New Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Drew Kornreich officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.
