AIKEN, SC – CYNTHIA MAE STEVENSON HARDING, 62, beloved wife of Rex Harding, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA.
A native of Louisville, KY, Cynthia was a daughter of Lillian Fuschino Stevenson and the late William Stevenson. She lived in Aiken since 1984 and was a merchandiser with American Greeting Cards. She was a loving and giving person and volunteered at Smith Hazel Senior Center, Helping Hands and Children’s Place. She was known affectionately by her friends as “The Card Lady”.
Survivors, in addition to her beloved husband Rex, include her mother, Lillian, Crofton, MD; two daughters, Mary Harding, Conway, SC, Toni Faircloth (Richard), Aiken; a son, Alan Harding, Aiken; a grandson, Eli Cooper Harding; two sisters, Teri Campbell, Crofton, MD, Karen Campbell, Myrtle Beach, SC; two brothers, Doug Stevenson, Prince Fredrick, MD, Joe Stevenson, Arnold, MD.
A memorial service will be held Thursday evening, June 9th at 6 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
