AIKEN, SC – DAVID W. KING, 91, beloved husband of Margaret Sepko King, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. King, a native of Glasgow, Scotland, was a son of the late David and Mary Jane Matheson King. He was a veteran of the US Army during World War II and was retired from Ford Motor Company. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Margaret, include a daughter, Dolores Disinger, Powell, WI, 7 grandchildren, Daniel M. Gilbo, Diane Chlipala, Cynthia Lockwood, Yvonne Walker, Richard D. Gilbo, Kenneth W. King, Lori W. Herrin , 14 great grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Mary Besonen and a brother James King, both of Michigan,and numerous nieces and nephews.
