Teresa Ann Martin Hair

NEW ELLENTON, SC – TERESA ANN MARTIN HAIR, 64, beloved wife of Terry G. Hair, died Friday, July 15, 2016 at her residence. A native and life-long resident of Aiken County, Teresa was a daughter of the late James B. and Dorothy Wilson Martin. She graduated top of her class in 1978 with an associates degree from USC-Aiken School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Medical College of Georgia, VA Medical Center and retired from University Hospital after 33 years. She was a former vice president of the PTO at Greendale Elementary and New Ellenton Middle Schools. Teresa was a loving wife and caring mother, she enjoyed watching her daughters play softball and compete in band competitions. She loved the beach and was most peaceful there with her family. She an avid animal lover member. Survivors, in addition to her husband Terry are four daughters, Katherine H. Yonce (Josh), Johnston, Kristina M. Hair, New Ellenton, Kellie N. Hair (Stanley), Clearwater, Danielle L. Elliott, Aiken; five grandchildren, Ellie Grace Yonce, Joseph W. Yonce, Krystyan G. Hair, Cooper G. Holland, Carlee A. Hall; two sisters, Reta Matlock (Benny), Aiken, Pamela McKenzie, Aiken. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday morning, July 19th at 11 o’clock at the funeral home with The Revs. William Eaves and Marion Britton officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Yonce, Stanley Holland, Michael Matlock, Robbie Robinson, Randy Wilson and Eddie Hair.
