Roger Dale Robbins

AIKEN, SC – ROGER DALE ROBBINS, 63, beloved husband of Gina M. Robbins, died Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Augusta, GA, Roger was a son of the late Charles P. and Annie Lee Gantt Robbins. He worked at the Savannah River Site for 38 years and had lived in Aiken for the last 29 years. He loved his family and friends and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Roger enjoyed golfing, car shows and road trips with friends. Surviving, in addition to his wife Gina, include two sons, Mark Robbins, North Augusta, Travis Day, Aiken; a daughter, Misty Moffitt (Matt), Monterey, CA; three grandchildren, Josh Robbins, Jessica Robbins, Brianna Boone; a great-granddaughter, Ali Robbins; a brother, Terry Robbins, Augusta; a sister, Myra Josey (David), Augusta, and a niece, Lauren Galavotti (Adam). The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. The funeral will be private.
