AIKEN, SC - Mr. George Anthony White, 67, loving husband of Geraldine “Gerry” White, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Augusta University Hospital. A Requiem Mass and celebration of George’s life will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Old St Mary's Help of Christians Church, Park Ave, Aiken, SC with the Rev. Renaurd West officiating. The family will receive friends at Gerry and George’s home following the service. George was born in Framingham, MA to the late Anthony Paul and Stella Rose Cunis White. He spent his career working as a Business Systems Analyst before retiring to Aiken in 2012. George was an avid golfer and sports fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father. In addition to his wife, George is survived by his son, Anthony James White, San Diego, CA and a sister, Monica White, Marlborough, MA.
