Leonard Andrew Palguta

AIKEN, SC – LEONARD ANDREW PALGUTA, 80, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 26, 2016. A native of Cleveland, OH, Leonard was the son of the late John and Agnes Bravis Palguta. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a graduate of Cleveland State University. A giving soul, Len was a dedicated member of the Marine Corps League and the Military Order of the Devil Dogs, he was very proud of the work these organizations performed. Leonard was a devoted volunteer at the Charlie Norwood VA Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, and a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Beloved husband of Rebecca (Kalista), father of Kenneth Palguta (Lori), Paul Palguta (Deborah), Susan Arz, Steven Horner, and Christy Byrant (Scott). Grandfather of Ricky Palguta, Ryan Arz, Sam Bryant, Cooper Bryant, and Colton Bryant. Brother-in-law of Jane Ferko (George). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 30th from 5 PM until 8 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home with a Prayer Service being held at 7 PM. Military Honors will follow.
