Robert DuWayne White

AIKEN – Mr. Robert DuWayne White "Chief", 82, died Saturday, September 3, 2016. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Friday, September 9, 2016 at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. Additional services will be held at a later date. Mr. White was born in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Paul White and Evelyn Kutschenreuter. Graduate of Michigan State University in 1955, he became an officer in the Navy earned and his PhD in Law, became a member of the bar in CA, WI & PA. He had a lifelong career as a business entrepreneur. He was an avid fisherman, devoted to equestrian 3-day Eventing, and a supporter of animal welfare & rights, he was a board member of the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gretchen Keim White of 60 years; son Cameron & wife Katy White Newburg MO; son Shawn & wife Kathleen White Marblehead MA; and daughter Heidi White & fiance Martin Sandoval of Aiken SC; grandson Kyle and wife Mallary Kansas City MO, and grandson Jason White Kansas City, MO; and two great-granddaughters Elyse White and Ann White.
