Suzanne Tennant Boyer

AIKEN, SC – SUZANNE TENNANT BOYER, 79, beloved wife of Donald Blaine Boyer, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her residence. A native of Ironton, OH, Suzanne was a daughter of the late Millard “Bud” and Doris Spriggs Tennant.  She was a homemaker and a member of Aiken Christian Church.  Suzanne enjoyed many activities and took on new challenges throughout her lifetime. She was an avid golfer and took up painting later in life.  She was active in her singing group “The Songbirds”. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her children, Seth Stuart Boyer, Edgefield, Eric Blaine Boyer (Dawn), Irmo, Kara Boyer Flanders (David), Aiken;); seven grandchildren, Suzann Beddingfield, Corey Boyer, Kaitlyn Boyer, Kelsey Boyer, Cassie Flanders, Collin Flanders, Alison Flanders, Wyatt Boyer; great-grandson, Jack Smith; a sister, Karen Tennant Renner, Raleigh, NC; beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 30th at 1:30 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Suzanne’s Life will be Saturday, October 1st from 7 until 9 PM at the Cumberland Village Clubhouse, 3335 Wise Creek Lane (Next to the lake).
