Martha Bodie Darhanson

AIKEN, SC – MARTHA BODIE DARHANSON, 77, died Sunday, October 9, 2016. A native of Edgefield, SC, Martha was a daughter of the late Raymond and Eva Burton Parkman.  She lived most of her adult life in Aiken and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass.  She was the widow of Leland M. Bodie. Survivors include a daughter, Beth Jordan (Wayne), Myrtle Beach, SC, step-children, Beverly Morrell (Andy), Aiken, Gene Bodie, Aiken, Jimmy Bodie, Meridian, MS; four grandchildren, Melissa, Wayne, Emily and Amy Jordan; six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, October 13th beginning at 2 o’clock followed by the funeral service at 3 o’clock.  The Rev. Dr. Henry L.
