Iona Ballard Pike

AIKEN, SC – IONA BALLARD PIKE, 82, widow of Donald Alfred Pike, entered into rest Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers after a long illness. Mrs. Pike was born in Baltimore, MD and was a daughter of the late Edward and Minnie Stier Ballard. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three children, Renneye Pike, Vienna, VA, Donald A. Pike, Jr., Silver Spring, MD and Christine L. Gates, Aiken, SC and three grandchildren, CPL Christopher Gates, USMC, Heather Gates and Jeffrey Pike. A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:15 PM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Aspen Hill, MD.
