Carolyn Lovett

AIKEN - Carolyn Hutto Lovett, "Nana" to many, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Aiken, SC. Carolyn was affectionately known for her brutally honest humor and her unending dedication to family, friends, and shopping. A beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, she was also a devoted animal lover who treasured her Chihuahua, “Princess”. Carolyn devoted the vast majority of her life to her child care business, Tender Loving Daycare, lovingly becoming a second Mother/Nana to countless numbers of children over 3 decades. Nana will be sadly and sorely missed by many and forgotten by few. Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Horry Luther Hutto, mother Kathryn Miles Hutto, sister Sylvian Hutto Baxley, and "Princess".  She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Hair Holsenback and Sheila Fulmer of Aiken, SC; former husband, Ray Lovett of Aiken, SC; grandsons, Brandon Fulmer of Aiken, SC, Matt (Laura) Fulmer of Evans, Ga; a granddaughter, Nicole Woodcock Robinson of Manchester, UK; 2 great grandchildren,  Madeline and Maddox "Dougie" Fulmer of Evans Ga; brothers Jack (Dorothy) Hutto of Aiken, SC, Terry (Jean) Hutto of Anderson, SC, Dennis  (Chris) Hutto of Barnweĺl, SC; and a sister Betty (Jimmy) Edwards of Blackville, SC.  A Celebration Of Life service will be held at Woodside Plantation Country Club. 1000 Woodside Plantation Dr. Aiken, SC 29803 on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3:00pm.                                      In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make time to be a positive influence on a child.
