Timothy Len Grantham

AIKEN, SC – TIMOTHY L. GRANTHAM, 42, died Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Timothy was born on August 9, 1966 in Lumberton, NC to Henry Holt and Faye Thompson Grantham, Jr.. As a boy he was very active in Aiken’s City League Baseball. He graduated from South Aiken High School and was in the school band. Timothy was a former dispatcher with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department. He was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his parents, Holt and Faye Grantham of Aiken, include two brothers, Daryl Holt (Vicki) Grantham of Lenoir City, TN and Rodney Lee Grantham of Lexington, SC, a niece and nephews, Connor, Christien and Lexi Grantham and Eric Curtis. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home, 715 East Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC, with The Rev. Clint Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brent McKinney, Greg McKinney, Todd Witherspoon, Johnny Campbell, Michael Sweeney, Billy Gauthier and Steve Franks. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
