AIKEN, SC - Mr. Terry Martin, 63, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Historic Bethany Cemetery with Brother Holt officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerome McPherson, Chris Hartless, Tommy Hoodless, Glenn Williams, Brian Baynham and Thomas Hatcher. The family will receive friends following the service. Born in Bartow, FL, Mr. Martin was a son of Olen and Burnell Simpler Martin. Mr. Martin served his country by enlisting in the US Navy during Vietnam. Upon leaving the Navy, he went on to graduate college & spent his career working as a welder.  He had lived in Aiken for the last ten years. He is survived by his mother, Burnell Simpler Mack, Milton, FL; daughters, Stacy (Chris) Hartless, Aiken, SC; Kelly (Jerome) McPherson, Chadbourn, NC; three grandchildren, Lexeigh Bennett, Blake Hartless, Kolby McPherson; a sister, Nyoka Martin, Milton, FL; a brother, Nicky (Lanora) Martin, Milton, FL and a nephew, Tommy (Tracy) Hoodless, Milton, FL.
