Ruth E. Robertson

WARRENVILLE, SC – RUTH E. SIPEK ROBERTSON, 99, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Laurel Baye Healthcare of Williston. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Ruth was a daughter of the late John and Sophie Sipek.  She graduated from Girls Commercial in Brooklyn and Hofstra University on Long Island.  She worked for 30 years at Franklin National Bank and then 15 years at European America Bank, Long Island.  She moved to Warrenville 8 years ago to live with her daughter. Survivors include her daughter, Norma Congreve, Warrenville; grandchildren, Brian John Congreve (Bonnie), Utah, Jean Lynn Congreve, New York, Jacalyn Bailey (Randy), Aiken; great-grandchildren, Emily Ludwig (Tim), Minnesota, Madeleine, Annie Jewel and Lucky Bailey, Aiken. A memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon, February 9th at 4 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Aiken SPCA (www.letlovelive.org) or Langley United Methodist Church.
