Robert Andrew Causey

AIKEN – Sgt. Robert Andrew Causey, US Army, Ret., 90, died Saturday, February 18, 2017. Mr. Causey was born in Conway, SC, a son of the late Willie Mack Causey and Winnie Essie Causey Causey.  He was an operator at the Savannah River Plant, and a member of Surfside United Methodist Church.  He retired from the US army with the rank of Sgt. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eloise Hucks Causey; daughters, Debbie (Shannon) Kirk, Lexington, SC, Ellen (Steve) Zielinski, Beaufort, SC; sons, Charlie (Cate) Causey, Surfside Beach, SC, Mark (Debby) Causey, Augusta, GA; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Penney, N. Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Buddy (Janice) Causey, Conway, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, and a memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Dr. Kirk Lawton officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
