Henrietta Schropp

AIKEN, SC - Henrietta (Hank) Schropp, formerly of Ardsley, NY, died peacefully on February 19, 2017, at the age of 93. Hank was born on April 29, 1923 in Lawrence, Kansas. She touched many hearts as an extraordinary Medical Practice Manager at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and devoted community volunteer. Hank was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Schropp, whom she married in 1946.   She was also preceded in death by her sister, Alice Bray, of Santa Barbara, CA. Hank is survived by her daughter Lisa (Fred) Sollars of Aiken, SC, extended family member Joseph (Jackie) Gyimesi of Red Bank, NJ, and her cherished granddaughter Emily Sollars of New York, NY. A celebration of Hanks’ life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 167 Scarsdale Rd, Tuckahoe, NY.
