Herbert Emmett Sizemore

AIKEN - Mr. Herbert Emmett Sizemore, 78, died Sunday, August 23, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Talatha Baptist Church with Reverend Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A lifelong resident of Aiken, Mr. Sizemore was a son of the late Leamon Fuller and Bessie Hurt Sizemore. He was retired from E.I. DuPont/SRP where he worked in procurement for over 25 years, and a member of Talatha Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Gail Sizemore Lewis, Sandra Sizemore (Dan) Willis, Aiken; a son, Keith (Barbara) Sizemore, Aiken; 10 grandchildren, Michael Sizemore, Christal Sizemore, Marc Sizemore, Tanner West, Mary Cate West, Maggie West, Andrea Lewis, Travis Lewis, Jesseca Willis, Reese Willis; a great grandson, James Sizemore; a sister, Dorothy Sizemore Carter, Belvedere, SC; a brother, Earl Sizemore, Aiken. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McDaniel Sizemore. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30904.
