Rodney Judy

AIKEN, SC - William Rodney Judy, 67, died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Bamberg, SC, Rod was a son of the late William David Judy and Erlene Hoffman Derrick.  He lived most his life in Bamberg and Orangeburg and retired from American Koyo after 32 years.  He lived in Aiken and worked at Advance Auto Parts on York St., as a parts delivery man. Survivors include his wife, Scarlett R. Judy, Myrtle Beach; step-father, Vernon Derrick, Aiken; son, David Judy (Terrie Hartley) Aiken; step-sons, John McGuire, Myrtle Beach, Neal McGuire, Tulsa, OK, Matthew McGuire, Myrtle Beach; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Saturday morning, March 4th at 11 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1721 Old 96 Indian Trail, Batesburg, SC 29006 or to the Endowment Fund at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St., NW, Aiken, SC 29801.
