Sheryll "Sherrie" Dawn Brewer

AIKEN, SC – SHERYLL “SHERRIE” DAWN KRIEGER BREWER, 63, beloved wife of Gary Robert Brewer, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at University Hospital, Augusta, GA. A native of Niagra Falls, NY, Sherrie was a daughter of the late Robert Charles and Evelyn Ruth Smith Krieger.  She lived in Anderson, SC from 1979 until 1986, during which time both sons were born.  After moving to Aiken, she became a faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville.  A devoted mother, Sherrie had a great sense of humor.  Always an optimist, she loved life. Survivors, in addition to her husband Gary, include two sons, Micah Robert Brewer (MaryAnn), Aiken, Matthew Swain Brewer (Rainee), Lexington, SC; two grandchildren, Micah Robert Brewer, Jr., Marissa Marie Brewer.  She was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Bojangles. The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 17th from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Home. A memorial service will be Saturday morning, at 11 o’clock at St. James Lutheran Church, Graniteville.
