AIKEN, SC - David Wade North,60, beloved husband of Beth Stanley North, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Allendale County, SC. A native of Augusta, GA, Wade was the son of the late David Edgar and Glenda Irby North. He was a graduate of Butler High School Class of 1975 and was an alumni member of Pi Kappa Phi, Gamma Psi Chapter at Augusta University. He lived most of his life in the CSRA. Wade was a communicant of St Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken. He was a journeyman carpenter and retired from Southeast Carpenters and Millwrights Local 283. Survivors, in addition to his wife Beth, include his children, Juston Wade North (Stephanie), Augusta, Amber Nichole Harrell, Austin James Harrell, Taylor Suzanne Harrell, all of Aiken, Geoff Cuebas, Augusta, Selina White, Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Jaydon Wade North, Colton Hart, Addison Duarte, Blakey Duarte, Maddix Brady; siblings Sheree Jaques (Chip), Charleston, SC, Cindy McCoy (Johnny), Grovetown, GA, Jay North, Agusta; and a number of nieces and nephews. Wades greatest attribute was his love for his family and his friends. He was the most loving and caring husband a wife could wish for and an outstanding father for his children. He was particularly devoted to his grandchildren and spent endless hours enjoying their company and spoiling them as often as possible. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Shellhouse-Rivers Funeral Home. A brief service will be held during visitation at which time family and friends will be offered the opportunity to share memories and stories about Wade. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org. The requiem mass will be celebrated Thursday morning, March 23rd , 11:00 am, at the Old St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church on Park Avenue with the Rev. Fr. Gregory Wilson, celebrant.
