Jeffrey Raymond Moorehead

AIKEN, SC - Jeffrey Raymond Moorehead, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on March 13.   A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and Hamline University School of Law (St. Paul MN), he made his home in Aiken and practiced law in South Carolina and Georgia.  Equipped with a quick wit and wicked sense of humor, he brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.  He was a kind and generous friend and mentor to many, and a devoted and loving husband and father.  He enjoyed being the "#1 Fan" of all Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his family.  He will be remembered as a generous, fun loving, and gentle soul.  He is survived by his wife, Melissa; his children, Gabrielle, Hannah, Jacob, and Isaac; his grandchild, Eli; his parents, Jim and Mary Lou Moorehead; his sister, Susan Fanning; his brothers and sister Daniel (Florida), Jonathan (New York), and Sheila Moorehead (New Mexico) and his extended family.
