AIKEN - Mr. Grover Cleveland Jones, Jr., 81, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Saturday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, Hayne Ave. Reverend Dr. Christopher Masters will officiate. Interment will be held at 12:15 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Larry Liles, Johnny Liles, Mitch Still, Vic Carroll, Clint Waldun, Johnny Bishop. Mr. Jones was born in Augusta, GA, a son of the late Grover C., Sr. and Martha Stewart Jones. He was a resident of Aiken since 1992, and a member of Millbrook Baptist Church. Mr. Jones is survived by his beloved wife, Evie Bishop Jones; daughter, Charlotte Yaun, Mableton, GA; stepchildren, Larry Liles, Beech Island, Debbie Still, Clarks Hill, SC, Johnny Liles, Aiken; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Dottie Wright, Alamogordo, NM.
