AIKEN, SC – PRISCILLA MOULTON MURRAY, 70, widow of Robert Edward Murray, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at her residence. A native of Dover, NH, Mrs. Murray was a daughter of Gillman W. and Pauline Garland Moulton. After retiring as a registered nurse in the 1990's, she returned to her lifelong love of the arts. Most notably, Mrs. Murray developed her considerable talent as a gardener, becoming a accomplished landscape designer. She moved to Aiken two years ago from Woodbury, CT. Survivors include two daughters; Tracy Trefethen, Damascus, OR and Christine (Charles) McKeel, Aiken, a son, Scott Daniel (Jean) Trefethen, Portland, OR, two step-children; Gregory (Leslie) Murray, Seberna Park, MD and Kelly Bouchard, Ellington, CT, twelve grandchildren; Chelsea, Keely, Angel, and Carlie Bouchard, Gabriel, Benjamin, Juliana, and Stephen Trefethen, David and Alex McKeel, Ethan and Jameson Murray, a sister, Anita Wentworth, Rollinsford, NH, two brothers; Harold Richardson, Beaufort, SC and Duane Wetherbee, Auburn, NH and a half-brother, Jack White, Fruitland, FL. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of St. John’s United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. George K. Howle officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the residence, 128 Bainbridge Dr., Aiken, SC.
