Karen Caughron Wienke

AIKEN, SC – KAREN SUE CAUGHRON WIENKE, 65, beloved wife of Theodore A. Wienke, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at her residence. A native of Gary, IN, Mrs. Wienke was a daughter of Naomi Zoller Caughron and the late James Leonard Caughron. She was a homemaker for most of her life and had lived in Aiken since 1986. Karen was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Circle. Survivors, in addition to her husband Ted, include her mother Naomi of Portage, IN, two daughters, Jennifer Morlan, Aiken and Jeanine (Patrick) Stovall, Rock Hill, SC, four grandchildren, Jamie and Elizabeth Morlan and Jordan and Sarah Stovall, a sister, Janice Stewart, Portage, IN and a brother, Mark Caughron, Las Vegas, NV. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, with The Rev. Dr. Rodney K. Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2 to 3 PM Sunday.
