Joseph Kesler Kneece, Jr.

AIKEN - Joseph Kesler "Joey " Kneece, Jr., 33, died Tuesday, November 3, 2009. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday in the Montmorenci Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend David Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Warren Timmerman, Tiger Kneece, Clif Hall, Barry Fitzgerald, Heze Kneece,Scott Grimm, and Mickey Scruggs. Joey was born in Aiken, a son of Joseph Kesler (Barbara) Kneece, Sr., and Georgia Stallings Hill, both of Aiken. He was a professional polo player and farmer, a member of the US Polo Association , former member of Aiken Polo Club and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church and Cedar Creek Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, June Kneece Snipes, Aiken, a step sister, Holly Hall, Aiken; step brother, Clif Hall, Aiken. He was preceded in death by his step father, Joe Lee Hill; step brother, Erik Hall; maternal grandparents, J.B. and June Stallings of Williston; paternal grandparents, Eugene H.
