Brenda Jones Stone

Aiken-Brenda Joyce Jones Stone, 64, died Dec. 20 at home. A prayer vigil will be celebrated Dec. 22 at 6:00 PM at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel. Friends are invited to remain after the service as the family will receive until 8:00 PM. The mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Rev. James L. LeBlanc officiating. Final prayers and commendations will follow at Ridge Spring Cemetery. Mrs. Stone was born in Saluda Co. to the late Horace Jason Jones and Ruby Jennie Pugh Jones, Augusta, GA. She was a life long resident of Aiken, homemaker and member of St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping with her Coachman friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband, James E. (Rick) Stone, Jr. and beloved children, Helen Jennifer (Frederick) Wilhite, Jr., North Augusta, Kimberly (Bobby) Day, Jr., Aiken, and James E. (Ricky) (Rebecca) Stone, III, Saluda. Other survivors include grandchildren, Bobby (Sara) Day, III, Abigayle K. Wilhite, Katelyn A. Wilhite, Emerick D. Stone, Anna M. Walton; great grandchild, Earl E.
